First time I visited Greece - was something extremely amazing for me.
This trip was as surprise for me. I knew were we are going to, but I didn't know what to expect.
In that summer, for the first time, I really fallen in love. I live a whole cocktail of emotions, happiness, fears, gossip, intrigue, beautiful unforgettable minutes, jealousy, fears and scandals. It was like a real soap opera. Is there any story just with positives Heroes? He + She and that's all?? Or it is absolutely necessary secondary characters to be present like old witch and scary dragon? WE HAD ALL OF THOSE. ALL SET. That holiday in Greece was an escape - a mouth of fresh air wich put all on its place.
It was that change that I have been waiting for all my life.
I was so excited that I couldn't even speak neither take pictures. It was like a miracle.

I will never forget my first "date" with Greece. It was on Thassos Island and it opened my interest for Greece and its treasures.
The thing I should worked for is our travel-plan (well, which I wasn't able to do because it was a suprize). I was definitely not prepared for such a trip, thats why we stay all days on a beach and we didn't explore the islandlike I do now. Sweet doing nothing is good, but sometimes we need something more!
When you go in a new place for a few days, you have to see as many place as possible, because later you may regret when someone will tell you about some stuff he saw on that place, and you did not!.

For last summer's holliday I choose the same destination.
It's our third visit to Greece. The same road, the same country, even the car is the same (ohh yeah btw, almost all of our trips we preffer to drive on a car), but the place is different, and we are others. Yeas we still love yeach other as much as possible and we both live the same love story as we did earlier, but we are more "mellowed" more "polished" one with another, we knew exactly what we wanted and what to expect this time, this time - I was totally prepared, I knew where I should go to, what to see, even the clothes I wanted to dress on??

---> One month before, I set up all the task I have to do (buy spf cream, make the destinations list, create a first aid kit, buy bathing suit, sew pink beachdress and other). I usually use an app, wich has features like set the limit date, create the project, check when is done and others. I pick asana. It offers desktop and mobile version (android and ios). You can use another, orr notebook.
It's up to you.
Mylos Beach, 2018---> Then I'm starting a study of the region which I'm planning go visit. I'm investigate such articles like: 10 places to visit in "this country", top 5 most beautiful beaches etc, and from those 10s - I pick to my top N fits more my interests.
Lighthouse Doukato, 2018---> Next I take a look at style of people in this country. What they wear, their habits, their gesture, tratidions etc. I draw in my head wich outfits match to this place. Imagine going to Marroco and take short skirt and jeans short. This is at least weird, and probably dangerous.

I'm looking for beautiful, motivating photos made by professionists, or amateurs, or just people on instagram, pinterest etc. I try to see the angle of view, colors, tricks and hints. We don't need to copy those exactly, just get an idea.
Megali Petra Beach, 2018---> LIST to BUY/to TAKE - This list is different than the one above, it should help us collect our suitcase and don't forgent anything.
I usually start writing this list 4 to 6 months before the trip. For exemple when I make my hairstyle I may think - hmmm I should not forget my iron in this trip, so i open the app (in my case is evernote) and write down - curling Iron. Other day, I can see my camera in closet, I have the same thoughts - Nina, write this in evernote.
So the main purpose of this thing, is to make easyier the final step before your trip. When the time comes, you open the app, look at first item, put it in suitcase, and check it - done!.
To be honest, since I started doing this stuff, I rarely need something I didn't get, and I don't have such a prostration, "Hmmm, did I pack all the things I need?" .
And it really saves your time.
Nydri Waterfalls, 2018---> And the last rule, for girls especially - be prepared for any kind of situation. Better to bring you clothes back unused than to not take them and regret about that.
This lesson i learned in Israel. I was thinking I don't nead so much stuff... I would take some t-shirt, skirts, jeans etc. As a result I had to borrow clothes from my sister, because it was actually much colder than I expected from a subtropical country. But thats another story.

Nydri Waterfalls, 2018Greece is like a fairytale. There it seems that all your dreams come true, you know why? Because you are so impressed what you are seeing, that all your material stuff wich you thought is making you happy, become unimportant. You realize that you are happy now and here, you are already in harmony with yourself and the nature.
